New To Louisiana

I'm not your typical middle American male.I don't give a damn about Jesus Christ , I hate football , I'd rather listen to ragtime music than the sh*t they play on the radio , and I don't watch TV shows. I love flea markets , estate sales , and dusty old bookstores. I am a horror movie fanatic and an obsessive film collector, though I think most recent American horror has been garbage. My interest lies in the sleazy European titles of the 1960s and 1970s , Asian cult cinema ,1980s American slasher movies, German Expressionism, exploitation , underground films , and anything weird , disturbing or obscure. If you know names like Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento, Joe D'Amato, H.G. Lewis, Ruggerio Deodato , Takashi Miike, Fritz Lang , Tod Browning , Coffin Joe , Jesus Franco , Andy Milligan , Werner Herzog and Klaus Kinski we could probably get along. But it's not just horror that captures my interest. I collect films of all genres - just as long as they are either really , really good - or really , really bad! My musical tastes range in everything from Nina Simone to Ministry to Hank Williams Sr. to early Pink Floyd - but I have I special love for 1920s -1940s jazz and blues. Collecting books is another hobby of mine - mostly stuff that would fall into the the "True Crime" genre , WWII history , or offbeat and antiquated psychology and medical texts. However , I do collect and read quite a bit of fiction as well (See list of books below). Political correctness and uptight people annoy me. So do people who won't clean up after themselves and those with hopeless drug problems. I love animals , especially cats. I live with a small twelve year old black female cat named Binah , who was a gift from my best friend. Binah has been with me for about six years. I'm originally from Tulsa , Oklahoma but I'm now living in Baton Rouge. I moved here several months ago and I don't know many people yet so it would be great to meet someone in the area with
